Maker meet Machine, Machine meet Maker

This class is all about introducing you to the basic parts and features of your sewing machine. Whether mechanical or computerized, they all have some major things in common that will make your sewing experience smoother if you know how to communicate with your machine. We will cover threading machine, straight and zigzag stitches, presser feet, tension, buttonholes, and whatever other needs arise from those present.
This is mostly an informational and then supported practice class open to ages 12 and older. Please bring the lockstitch machine that you would like to know better. No sergers, we will save that for a future class. Please email hello@tumbleseedstudio.com for questions.

| Instructor Bio: | Janette is the owner of Tumbleseed Stitchery Supply and Studio. She has been sewing for 20+ years. She has 2 years of experience teaching sewing via Colorado Mountain College as well as a Masters in Teaching and Learning. She aims to meet students where they are, identify barriers, and aids them in moving towards their personal goals and visions. |
