Quilting: Friendship Star Block
Quilting 101: What you need to know about cutting and piecing.
Sewing machines, tools and notions provided. Please come early to purchase 3-4 fat eighth quilting cottons OR bring an equivalent amount of scraps from your stash.
If you are with us just the one class, you will sew this 12" x 12" friendship block.
I predict this will take the full time, and we all work at different paces. If you need more time, StitchLab is available to schedule at no additional cost.
If you want to also learn how to sandwich, quilt and bind it, or make a tote bag, sign up for our Quilting and Binding Class and/or Canvas Tote Bag class on its separate time or date as well. Then you can use this quilt block as your front pocket.

She has been sewing for 20ish years and has dabbled in many facets and continually hones her practice of construction and design with textiles. |
